The 8th Two Riversides Festival will begin with themes from such films as “E.T,” “Star Wars,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra will present recognisable motifs from John Williams, Howard Shore, Klaus Badelt.

The Polish Cartier-Bresson – that is how he is often referred to. Just like the master of French photography, he has been photographing with a Leica 50mm all his life. Bogdan Dziworski – cinematographer, director, author of nearly 40 short-, medium-, and full-length films will visit Two Riversides. We will see his exhibition “Podchody i inne gry towarzyskie” (Paper Chase and other party games).

Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s “Winter Sleep” enthralled the Cannes jury, the critics (who awarded it with FIPRESCI), and the audience. Thanks to the cooperation between Two Riversides and Film Point Group, the Polish audience will see the film on the 2nd of August, the opening day of the 8th edition of the Festival starts.
