“The Strong Coffee Isn’t So Bad” by Aleksander Pietrzak is the film that turned out to be number one in the Independent Short Films Competition. Marian Dziędziel and Wojciech Mecwaldowski were superb in their roles as two men too stubborn to reconcile and tell each other what they feel.
Second place goes to Julia Rogowska and Magdalena Załęcka’s “Cold Feet,” and third – to Mateusz Głowacki’s “Survey About Men.”
This year the films were evaluated by an independent 15-piece jury comprised of audience members chosen at random and unassociated with the film industry. Maryla Jorsz, Two Riversides program manager, says: “We try to select unusual films and find something unique in each and every one of them. This is why, inter alia, there is so much variety.” The jurors evaluated a total of 61 productions this year.« Two Riversides grand finale Results of the audience poll »
