DESCRIPTION
Concert based on Tadeusz Różewicz's texts.
Tadeusz Różewicz once wrote that 'the divorce of contemporary poetry and music is a fact.' Meanwhile, his poems only seem to be non-musical. It turns out that sometimes their rhythm imposes surprisingly modern stylistics: punkrock, hip-hop, reggae. Of course, these poems do not go well with a mellow delivery, the hazy melodiousness, frolicking in the meadow. Różewicz's poems suggest powerful music. Its brokenness is a result of the structure of the texts themselves: restless, torn to fragments. In the “Do ludożerców” concert you will find pure beauty, as well as grotesque. I wanted to show Różewicz who is post-modern, apocaliptic-comical, Różewicz who is ironic and lyrical. | Karolina Cicha
